ACTs stands for Active Christian Teens, and is St. Paul's ministry for high school students. We exist for students to... 1. Grow in understanding Christ's role in their lives. 2. Develop lasting Christian relationships for encouragement, growth, and support. 3. Understand how they can impact others through how they live. 4. Form a biblical worldview, seeing the world through God's perspective.
We are striving to be a place where high school students are free to ask questions about their lives, about God, and about the world they live in without feeling judged or rejected. To do this, we meet regularly on Sunday evenings, usually from 6:30-8pm at what we call "ACTs Gatherings." In this time, we participate in activities, learn about each other, and spend some time in Bible study. This fall, we are beginning (again) the GOSPEL Journey: Maui. This is a reality series that takes 7 young people from different spiritual backgrounds and beliefs to Hawaii to ask some of life's big questions. Is there a higher power? What is the purpose of life? Why are there so many religions? What happens when we die? Why do bad things happen? Who is Jesus and what is his message? Each session is about 30 minutes, and we will follow up with a discussion of our own where you can ask your own questions, share your own thoughts and hear what others think about the most important things in life. All are welcome on the journey. Come join us on Sunday evenings (6:30-8pm), and in the meantime, check out our website.
