Are you going to be visiting St. Paul Evangelical Church? We're looking forward to meeting you, and worshiping God together. Here are answers to some questions you might have about St. Paul Church.
When are the services?
Our worship services are at 9:00 am and 10:30 am. The 10:30 am service is called Family Worship, and the service is planned with school-aged kids in mind (kids from kindergarten through sixth grade will go to Sunday School partway through the 10:30 service). Childcare is available for children age two and under during the worship services, if you want it.
What are your services like?
Our worship services would probably best be called traditional. We do sing along to the organ a lot, but we also use lots of other instruments regularly. We have a fairly structured service, but include notes in the bulletin to help newcomers follow along. We believe that worship is the most important thing we do as Christians, and so we try to make sure the whole congregation is involved - worship is not a spectator sport at St. Paul!
How do people dress at St. Paul?
There is a lot of variety. Most people wear what might be called "business casual". Some are more casual than that, and others are more formal than that. We are more concerned that people come prepared to worship God and experience Him than that they dress a specific way.
Where do I park?
There is parking at the front of our building (on First Street) or at the back (on Franklin Street, facing Bloomingdale Road). Either lot gets you easily into the building. If you find both lots full, there is plenty of room to park on First Street as well.
