St. Paul Church exists to
encourage, empower, and invite people to live like Jesus. We are the
oldest church in Bloomingdale, but we are also still trying to learn how to
live the life of the church in this day and culture. We believe church is
something followers of Jesus are, not a place where followers of Jesus
go. The word in the New Testament which we translate as “church” means a
gathering of people, not a building. We see that many people are
reclaiming this understanding of church as the people of God on mission with
Jesus, and so do we.
